There has long been speculation about whether there will be enough sequels to the well-known “Bad Boys” series.
Rumors that the project had been canceled came later Smith beat Chris Rock (57) at the Oscars in 2022.

The dramatic battle arose after Chris Rock joked about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith (51).
The incident led to several consequences for the actor, who has, among other things, been banned from attending the Oscars for the next ten years.

Planned sequel
However, in July, Lawrence gave an update on the project, confirming that the film was still in development.
In the interview with the magazine EbonyLawrence revealed that at least one more film in the series was planned, despite the dramatic affair at the Oscars.
