Local health officials say the man is currently quarantined in Elbert County, near Denver, and is being scrutinized to determine the route of infection.
Earlier, CDC said on the 22nd that the mutant coronavirus found in the UK was not confirmed in the United States, but may have already spread to the United States.
The mutant virus is up to 70% more contagious than the existing coronavirus, but experts analyze that it is not more lethal.
The U.S. government set a goal of vaccinating 20 million Americans by the end of December, but according to CDC figures, about 2.1 million people have been vaccinated to date.
