Confirmed. Hushbauer transferred from Slavia to Famagusta, Cyprus

Hušbauer ended up in Slavia after four and a half years, even though he still had a valid contract in Eden for a year. Already in the spring, the 21-member national team was a guest at Dynamo Dresden, with which it relegated from the second German league.

The former player of Sparta, Žižkov, Příbram or Ostrava will try his third foreign engagement. In the past, he also worked in Cagliari, Italy, where, however, he did not make a name for himself and intervened in only three competitive matches. Hušbauer played 10 matches in Dresden due to injuries, scoring one goal and one assist.

The last year of the Cyprus League was prematurely terminated due to the coronavirus pandemic. Famagusta took second place behind Omonia of Nicosia in the table due to worse matches. Anorthosis, where the Slovak forward and former Pilsen player Michal Ďuriš also works, is awaiting qualification to advance to the European League group.
