Jamaican talent Dujuan “Whisperer” Richards, 17, is tipped to have a bright future ahead of him and the forward recently had a two-week trial with Newcastle – and most indications were that the prodigy would end up at “The Magpies”.
It won’t be like that.
The agent Kyle Butler confirms that big-investing Chelsea sign the 17-year-old giant talent from the Jamaican Phoenix Allstars Football Academy.
– We believe that Chelsea is the best option for him, with the best opportunities, Butler says in a video on Instagram.
In a post on Instagram, Butler writes the following:
“I’m proud of you, Whisper”.
According to Tipsbladet, Dujuan “The Whisperer” Richards has been called up to the Jamaican A national team.
Why the 17-year-old talent is called “The Whisperer” is a bit unclear, but his Instagram name “whisper” gives a hint as to the explanation for the nickname.
When Richards joins Chelsea is shrouded in obscurity
Chelsea – who made a splash last winter by signing the likes of Enzo Fernandez, Mychajlo Mudryk and Benoit Badiashile – sit tenth in the Premier League.
