Mexico’s undersecretary of health announced Friday that the country now has two confirmed cases of the new coronavirus.
Hugo López-Gatell said that one of the patients is in Mexico City and the other in the northern state of Sinaloa, and none is seriously ill, The Associated Press said.
The first case is about a 35-year-old man who returned from Italy, said Undersecretary Hugo López Gatell, as reported Reform Agency.
The case was confirmed after performing a second test on the infected after testing positive on the first.
The Mexican with coronavirus is isolated in the National Institute of Respiratory Diseases (INER) of Mexico City.

The Secretariat urged the population to practice frequent hand washing with soap or alcohol and sneeze or cough with the internal angle of the arm, avoid touching face, nose, mouth and eyes with dirty hands.
