Municipal councils and mayors maintained the highest public confidence. The least Czechs trust the Chamber of Deputies, which, as in June, received 32 percent of the positive ratings. It is followed by the Senate with 36 percent, an improvement of two percentage points.

The governors trust 40 percent of people, four percentage points more month-on-month. This is followed by the government with 41 percent and regional councils, which, like the president, trust 43 percent of the public.
–
“Municipal councils, or city councils and mayors are significantly better off than all the above-mentioned institutions. Confidence in them reaches the level of more than three-fifths,” said CVVM. 63 percent of respondents expressed confidence in municipal councils and mayors. In the case of local councils, this is an improvement of three percentage points, and in the case of mayors it is two percentage points.

Satisfaction with the political situation does not change
18 percent of Czechs are satisfied with the current political situation, and 34 percent of respondents chose the answer “neither satisfied nor dissatisfied”. Compared to June, the assessment of the political situation has not changed significantly and still remains significantly better than in 2012 and 2013.

Recently, there is a clear tendency for a slight improvement, which, however, was somewhat disturbed by the last two data collected after the forced coronavirus pause.
–
“Only further research will show, however, whether it is a more permanent change in the trend or just a short-term fluctuation,” added CVVM.
