Confession of the murderer of furniture boss whose body was just found for 7 years: I buried it with a mattress

PALEMBANG, KOMPAS.com – Muslim (37), the perpetrator murder Sidik Purwanto (61), whose body was only found seven years later, admitted that he was paid Rp. 1 million by Amin (DPO) to bury the victim’s body on the edge of the rice field.

Muslimin said that at that time he dug about 1.5 meters to bury the victim’s body along with one of the perpetrators, Yuliana, who had committed suicide after being arrested by the ranks of the Satreskrim, Pelalawan Police, Riau Police.

“I buried it with a mattress too. The victim’s body was large, but the ground was soft, so it was easy to bury him,” said Muslimin, while at the South Sumatra Regional Police, Saturday (5/9/2020).

The location around the victim’s burial was once a hut which was often used for residents to go to the fields.

However, due to age-consuming condition, the hut collapsed, covering the location where the victim was buried.

“The residents do not know that we buried the victim there. I was only paid Rp. 1 million,” he said.

Meanwhile, Dedy (42), the victim’s son, said that since Sidik was declared missing, his family was still looking for his remains.

According to Dedy, the four perpetrators who had been arrested did not know where the victim was buried, so at that time the police had difficulty finding Sidik’s body.

“The pickup truck they have taken has not been found until now. We hope the police can catch one more suspect who is still at large,” said Dedy.
