KOMPAS.com – The perpetrators beatings which caused a young man in Palembang, South Sumatra, named Rio Pambudi Wicaksono (25) to was killed successfully arrested by the police.
Of the four suspected perpetrators who are still one family, two of them have now been named suspects by the police.
The two suspects are Oka Candra Dinata (28) and Rizki Ananda (22).
They are residents of the Griya Macan Lindungan Residential Complex, the Baru Baru Village, Ilir District, which is the victim’s neighbor.

Rizki claimed the reason for the beating was because he was afraid of the victim. Because, the victim is considered to have martial arts abilities.
Because, when dueling one on one, his brother had fallen down due to a blow from the victim.
“This victim can defend himself, because my brother fell, I tried to help him,” Rizki said while in Ilir Barat Sector Police 1 Palembang, Wednesday (07/22/2020).
As for the problem that triggered the commotion, he said because the victim was considered to have glared at his brother. But when reprimanded, the victim did not receive it.
“At first he (the victim) glared at my brother Oka. When he was reprimanded, he said why did you not agree? So there was a commotion,” Rizki said.
Arrested in a hiding place
Palembang Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Pol Anom Setiyadji said, after the beatings that caused the death toll, the perpetrators were known to have fled immediately.
After an investigation, the police finally succeeded in arresting them while hiding in the family residence located in the Sub-District of Sumbawa, Banyuasin District.
Although there are four suspected perpetrators in the beating, so far only two have been named as suspects.
“For other actors are still explored. So far only two have been named suspects,” he said.
In addition to securing the perpetrators, in carrying out the arrests, his party also secured rogue weapons that were allegedly used by the perpetrators to kill victims.

Eyewitness confession
While from the testimony of Ganda eyewitnesses (35), the number of people who did the beatings to Rio amounted to 4 people. They are known to still be a family, namely A as the father and three children.
During the beating, the victim’s mother had tried to break up and help her.
But because of being held and held by one of the perpetrators, the mother can only struggle when her child is persecuted to death.
“His mother was trapped by the offender’s son when Rio was beaten,” he said.
The victim who was seriously injured as a result of a sharp gun shot was rushed to the hospital by residents, but his life was beyond help.
