Confession of Monkeypox Patient: So Tormenting

In a recently released video, a monkeypox patient named Ollie Sinha recounts the various symptoms he is experiencing.

Ollie initially thought he was infected with Covid-19, because the initial symptoms were very similar. Until some time later diagnosed with monkeypox.

“I have a weak immune system for personal health reasons and I also tend to peel my skin a lot because of anxiety. I don’t get it through sex,” Ollie said, quoted from The Health Site.

Ollie’s initial symptoms were fever and he also sweated heavily at night. Then the symptoms are followed by skin lesions (which appear after a few days).

“At first I was worried it was Covid-19 because my father was positive and I had a pretty bad cough. However, monkeypox symptoms on the skin started to appear after a few days,” he added.

He added that the skin lesions were followed by red blisters and small reddish bumps, which began to enlarge and eventually filled with pus.

“The lump started to grow and was in a very unfortunate place. I started experiencing the most severe pain in my life,” he continued.

After the lesions appeared, Ollie admitted to having trouble sleeping because of the severe pain.

“It was excruciating. I was crying… walking was so painful,” he said.
