Dittipideksus Bareskrim Polri arrested seven suspects loans online (pinjol) illegal from eight locations in Jakarta and Tangerang. It is suspected that this illegal lending network had once made a mother in Wonogiri, Central Java (Central Java), commit suicide because she was in debt.
The two suspects are HH (35) and AY (29). HH claimed to have worked for illegal pinjol for 9 months. He used to get a salary of Rp 15 million per month.
“Before, I was an entrepreneur. I have worked in an illegal loan for 9 months. The salary is Rp. 15 million per month,” said HH at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency building, South Jakarta, Thursday (21/10/2021).
HH said he didn’t know working for an illegal loan company at first. He said the figure who recruited him only informed HH’s task of sending SMS. However, over time, HH began to realize that he was working in an illegal loan.
“At first they were only told to send SMS. Over time, we knew it was a pinjol. At first we didn’t know. terror. We just forward the SMS. We are not that terror,” he said.
HH was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department at his home in Cengkareng, West Jakarta. HH claimed to be a junior high school graduate.
There is also another suspect, AY, who was arrested by the police at the Laguna Pluit Apartment, North Jakarta. He admitted that he had only worked for 3 months and was paid Rp 5 million per month.
“Three months. Salary Rp 5 million. Working hours only in the morning the hell, “said AY.
AY, who is a former employee at a restaurant, said he needed more money. Eventually, he joined an illegal loan company. He admitted that he only realized that his place of work was illegal after 1 month of working.
AY, whose monthly salary is less, was given accommodation in the form of an apartment unit. All work tools are also provided.
“That’s right, in the form of an apartment unit itself. From there it works. I am at the Laguna Apartment,” explained AY.
“(Aware of working at an illegal loan facility) one month after working, I was only three months old. I was aware before being arrested. only It’s called need money,” he continued.
