Confess to Monkeypox Patient, Reveals Symptoms More Torturing than COVID

A man in Texas, United States, revealed that monkeypox infection is 100 times worse than COVID-19. According to the man named Luke Shannahan, the symptoms are as excruciating as ‘hell’.

Shannahan recounts her experience of being infected. The man who worked as a bartender in Dallas, Texas, experienced symptoms such as fever, headache and swollen lymph nodes that made him look like a ‘frog’.

After 1-2 days later, Shannahan also experienced specific symptoms of monkeypox, namely blisters all over her body. He said it was very painful.

“It hurts so much that it feels like ‘someone got a potato peeler on your skin’ every time they touch something,” Shannahan said. Daily MailMonday (1/8/2022).

After being diagnosed with monkeypox, Shannahan was given a vaccine for the disease, also known as monkeypox. As a result of the illness, he had to be bedridden for two days, in such pain that he thought he was going to die.

Shannahan wasn’t sure how she got infected with monkeypox. However, a few days before experiencing symptoms, he had time to come to bars, pool parties and music festivals.

About two days later, he developed a fever, persistent headache, and swollen lymph nodes. Then, followed by painful blisters.

“The pain is very constant,” said Shannahan.

“Oh this is 100 times worse (than COVID-19). It’s a completely different level of extreme fatigue.”

Although the symptoms have started to subside, Shannahan still has to undergo isolation for at least three weeks. He also created a Gofundme page, seeking donations to replace his lost salary as a bartender of 1,700 US dollars, or about 25 million rupiah.
