The Varennes Historical Society presents on Tuesday September 26 at 7 p.m. in room 101 of the new Espace des Bâtisseurs, a conference on -The lordship of Sainte-Thérèse Island – Its first inhabitants in the 17th and 18th centuries by the author Christian Malo.
In this work, the author pays, among other things, homage to his ancestor, Jean Hayet known as St-Malo, who was one of the very first inhabitants of Sainte-Thérèse Island.
Open day on September 30
Furthermore, as part of the Culture Days, the Varennes Historical Society invites the Varennes population, on Saturday September 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the 2nd floor of the new Espace des Bâtisseurs, to an open day to come discover its new spaces that it has recently occupied in the new emblematic building of Varennes, the Espace des Bâtisseurs.
