Fourth win out of four official matches in new competition: El Shaarawy, Smalling and Abraham knock out Ukrainians
The Roma goes to take the fourth victory out of four matches played in Conference League; the second in the qualifying round. The Zorya is spread out in the house 3-0. El Shaarawy opens the dance at 7 ‘, on an assist from Darboe; the header of Smalling the doubling is worth it in the 66th minute, while a favorable rebound paves the way for the three of a kind Abraham (68 ‘). THE MATCH
The derby can now be (almost) permanently put behind us. Roma is confirmed in its clear path in this Conference League, in which it has totaled four wins out of four (including the two preliminaries against Trabzonspor), the result of 13 goals scored and 2 conceded. On the second day of group C, at the Slavutych Arena, even Zorya must surrender to the overwhelming power of Mourinho’s men.
The Giallorossi immediately took the lead in the 7th minute: Darboe’s illuminating assist triggered El Shaarawy’s run with a through ball, who dribbled the goalkeeper and finished with an empty goal. The same Pharaoh starts his own shortly after: steering, centralization and shooting at the limit of perfection. Matsapura performs a feat. At half an hour, Roma builds a colossal goal ball to immediately close the accounts: Pellegrini takes the Ukrainian defense in counter-time and takes the race of Shomurodov, who tries the row face to face with the goalkeeper but gets the shot deflected by another Matsapura miracle. Two minutes later Abraham signs the trio after a fortuitous rebound that had in turn followed a triangulation in the strait between Pellegrini and Zaniolo. The next opponent will be Bodo / Glimt, who drew 0-0 against CSKA Sofia and are therefore now 2 points behind in the group compared to the Giallorossi.

Shomurodov 5.5 – As much as the opposing goalkeeper makes a feat, the Uzbek striker could certainly have done much more to score 0-2 in the first half.
