Partizan are Santa Clara’s opponents in the play-off of the UEFA Conference League, with the victory in the penalty shoot-out (4-2) over Sochi, after 2-2 at the end of the second leg, which did not untie the 1-1 checked in the first game.
Terekhov gave Sochi the advantage in Belgrade, 33 minutes into the game, with a goal that made the difference in the first half.
In the second half, Jojic responded and tied the game and the tie, with 1-1 in the 55th minute. Sochi returned to the front with another goal from Terekhov, in the 76th minute, but Scekic dragged decisions into extra time, with Partizan’s 2-2 in the 90th minute.
However, in the extra 30 minutes, nothing changed in the result and the decision came only from the 11 meter mark, in favor of the Serbs.
Tsallagov failed to score right away to Sochi and Partizan took advantage of it from then on: Marko Zivkovic, Ricardo Gomes, Soumah and Vujacic (this was the decisive penalty) scored and sealed the qualification of the Serbs. Vorobyev and Joaozinho scored for Sochi, who also missed the fourth penalty, by Rodrigo, before Vujacic sealed the meeting.
The Santa Clara, remember, won this afternoon the Olimpija Ljubljana (0-1), stamping the pass to the play-off.
