Condusef alerts for new fraud

The National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Users of Financial Services (Condusef), warned about a new fraud in which, through the supposed granting of loans offered by the federal government, they request people an amount of money so that credit is granted.

Through its Twitter account, the Condusef launched the alert.

“Be careful with the loans offered by ‘Seguros Bienestar’ on social networks. They use the colors and identity of the Federal Government ”, the commission warned on its social network.

Given this, he indicated that to avoid a fraud of this type it is important not to make deposits in exchange for a supposed credit as well as not to share personal documents.

Both the Condusef and the Association of Banks of Mexico warned not to share passwords, passwords or confidential information since banks are not authorized to request such information by phone, text message or email.
