Dr. Ahmed Al-Sobky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Health Care Authority, revealed that more than 3.5 million citizens have been registered through the electronic system for comprehensive health insurance in the first stage.
Al-Sobky added, during a telephone interview with the “On My Responsibility” program, presented by journalist “Ahmed Moussa”, on “Sada Al-Balad” satellite channel, that 30,000 surgical operations were performed at various levels in the comprehensive health insurance system.
Al-Sobky pointed out that the state’s health insurance plan is proceeding normally despite the challenges that the country is going through due to the Corona pandemic spreading in the world.
“President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi pays great attention to the comprehensive health insurance system,” Al-Sisi said, “President El-Sisi fulfilled the Egyptians’ dream of obtaining high-quality health services without discrimination. “
President El-Sisi had launched the comprehensive health insurance system initiative as part of the state’s plan to build the Egyptian people.
