Canary Islands in great demand
From the airports in Munich, Düsseldorf and Hamburg, Condor is already flying the first holidaymakers to Mallorca, Gran Canaria and Sardinia, as the airline announced. With Berlin-Schönefeld, Stuttgart, Leipzig and Hanover, further departure airports are to follow in the coming days. According to the holiday airline, booking demand is steadily increasing and Tenerife is currently a particularly popular destination.
The largest of the Canary Islands will be served again this month from Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf, Hanover, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Berlin-Schönefeld and Leipzig. In addition – as already mentioned – Gran Canaria is served again. In addition, Lanzarote and La Palma are to be approached next. In addition, numerous other destinations in the holiday regions of Greece, Spain and Italy are served, as well as Sylt and Cyprus, for example.
An airplane for Berlin
In addition, Condor has stationed an Airbus A320 at Berlin-Schönefeld airport, which took off on Wednesday for its first flight to Gran Canaria. The holiday airline is also offering a total of twelve weekly flight connections from Schönefeld this summer to Tenerife and Fuerteventura, as well as to the Greek islands of Crete, Kos, Rhodes and Samos.
Conclusion on the expansion of the Condor flight plan
As is well known, Condor has had to go through some ups and downs in the past few months, which repeatedly pushed the holiday airline close to the abyss. Nevertheless, Condor has always managed to somehow get out of the respective situation. And currently, things seem to be looking up again for the traditional airline, which is constantly expanding its own flight schedule. Even though Condor will of course not emerge from the crisis without scars, one can only hope that it will last.
