The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has sent to the Verkhovna Rada a draft on amendments to the law on housing and communal services. It provides for the creation in all houses of an association of co-owners of an apartment building (condominium).

The bill states that if the competition for the appointment of the manager of the apartment building was not held before May 1, 2021, the executive body of the relevant local council must announce and conduct such a competition for the appointment of the manager of the apartment building no later than March 1, 2022.
We are talking about houses where an association of co-owners of an apartment building has not been created, the owners have not made a decision on the form of management of an apartment building and such a competition has not been announced and held in accordance with paragraph 5 of Article 13 “Final and Transitional Provisions” of the Law of Ukraine “On the specifics of exercising the right property in an apartment building “and paragraph one of this clause.
