Russian dictator Vladimir Putin signed the law on citizenship of Ukrainians. According to the new law, Ukrainian citizenship will be considered terminated from the date of submission of an application to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for withdrawal from it.
In particular, such Ukrainians will be prohibited from using a Ukrainian passport or other documents proving Ukrainian citizenship.
“If an application is filed… the fact that a citizen of the Russian Federation previously had citizenship of Ukraine is recognized as a fact that has no legal significance for the emergence or termination of rights, obligations and liability in the framework of legal relations that arose before the recognition of such a citizen as not having citizenship of Ukraine, “says in law.

Recall that on March 17, 2023, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and Commissioner for Children’s Rights under the President of the Russian Federation Maria Lvovskaya-Belova.
The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said that the decision of the International Criminal Court in The Hague to issue an order for the arrest of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin “This is just the beginning of the process.”
