Hello financial experts!
Got a preliminary contract from the bank. After studying the preliminary contract, I noticed two points that are questionable. Maybe someone can say something to me.
1.) Have a fixed rate loan for 15 years (30 total, the rest variable).
How is the compensation for early payment to be understood? Does this only apply to the fixed phase? Thereafter there is no compensation to be paid ?! It could be that we are through after 20 years. How much is such a compensation?
2.) The consequences of not paying the installments seem very drastic to me. Can’t it be deferred or something negotiated here?
Is that a common phrase?
