Honoring the past, celebrating the future

This large motor show at Blenheim Palace is divided into three different sections. The first section alludes to vintage cars, both pre-war cars and cars from the 1980s. With over 70 carefully selected cars, the Salon Privé Concours d’Elégance presented by Aviva has something for everyone. Relics from the Edwardian and pre-war era were on display in Britain’s largest palace, along with some of Britain’s grand touring cars, classic sports cars, landmark icons and racing legends. As extraordinary cars we have the Ferrari 250 GTO, Ferrari 125 S, Citroën SM Espace de Heuliez, among others. Also note that, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Italian brand Ferrari, a large number of classics on display belonged to this brand.

The second block is clearly defined by today and the future, by the most impressive supercars and concept cars in the world. Several brands and dealers from the UK and the world presented their latest models, such as De Tomaso P72, Aston Martin Valhalla, Viritech Apricale, Ferrari 296 GTB, McLaren Artura, McLaren Speedtail, Hennessey Venom 5 Roadster, among others. Finally, a parade of the best producers of the moment took place.

The third block refers to the exhibition “The Platinum Collection”a collection of 16 extraordinary, rare and iconic supercars from all eras with platinum and / or silver presence, commissioned by Salon Privé to celebrate the 70th anniversary at the head of the crown of the late Queen of England. Magnificent pieces were seen in this exhibition, such as a 1997 Porsche 911 GT1, the latest Lamborghini Miura SVJ, two McLaren F1 cars, the Sultan of Brunei’s Bugatti EB110 SS, among other equally important pieces.

Although the three pieces are precious, the fame of one of them precedes it.
