What more can I say – Concord doesn’t have it easy. Although it’s impossible not to notice that the producers have largely brought this fate upon themselves. Controversial solutions, a very unusual move with the presentation of a paid hero shooter and an attempt to enter a market that is saturated with such productions to the brim. Despite many comments, it was decided to stick to the initial plans and release the project as planned.
It so happens that the release was scheduled for August 23, so yesterday. Thanks to this, we had the opportunity to take a closer look at how the first hours are doing in the context of the production itself. And although we currently only have results from Valve’s platform, which can be checked via SteamDB, there is no doubt this already gives some picture. And it’s certainly not a picture that developers can be proud of. The numbers aren’t impressive.

At the time of writing this news 370 people playing at the same time. What’s more, the best result since the premiere is not impressive either – 697 players played at peak. Let’s face it, this was definitely not what was expected and comparing it with another hit from Sony, Helldivers II, it must be called a big flop. Perhaps the creators will find the right path of development and will constantly improve the project, but it won’t be easy. First impressions always matter and – unfortunately – you only make them once.
