Russian pop singer Valery Meladze’s father, Shota Meladze, died. SIA reports that the artist announced this by posting a video message on the social network.
He noted that the deceased was 90 years old.
The musician said that he had to postpone his upcoming concerts due to the tragedy in his family. The singer was supposed to perform in Almaty on January 20, 23 and 25. These concerts have been changed to February 2, 4 and 6. The performance scheduled to be held in Tashkent on January 22 has been postponed to February 7. It is noted that previously purchased tickets will be valid for the new dates.
Earlier, Valery Meladze interrupted his tour due to the serious condition of his father, who was admitted to the intensive care unit of one of the Moscow clinics.
