Concerts, exhibitions, cinema: how the “Night of Arts” will take place in the Vladimir region

On November 3, the “Night of the Arts” event will take place throughout the country. This year it will be held under the slogan “Russia Unites”. A rich program has been prepared for residents of the region in all cultural institutions.

Through the museums of Vladimir

The Chambers Museum Center will be waiting for guests from 18:00 to 22:00. At this time, it will be possible to visit exhibitions, for which you need to obtain a free ticket on the VSMZ website.

At 6 p.m., artist Zhanna Vinogradova will conduct a master class on drawing portraits (price – 100 rubles). At 18.15 and 19.45 there will be a museum quest dedicated to the 225th anniversary of Pushkin’s birth (you must purchase a free ticket). At 18.30 you can attend a master class on making a bracelet using the threading technique (price – 150 rubles). At 18.30 and 19.30 – master class on painting a wooden phone stand (price – 150 rubles). At 18.30 and 20.30 – a master class on making clay plates (price – 450 rubles).

You can also play board games at 18:30 and 20:00 (free ticket required). At 19:00 there will be a lecture by wood artist Dmitry Rytyaev (price – 150 rubles), as well as a meeting with artist Elizaveta Komarova (you must get a free ticket). At 20.00 – screening of the film “Through the Eyes of Jamie Wyeth” (price – 250 rubles).

From 20.30 to 22.00, if you purchase a free ticket, you can visit St. Demetrius Cathedral.

From 18:00 to 22:00 you can visit the exhibitions of the Museum of Crystal and Glass of the 18th-21st centuries. Organized tours will take place at 18.15 and will run every half hour. A free ticket is required.

Also, the “Old Vladimir” exhibition will be freely available to Vladimir residents.

Guests will be welcomed at the Stoletov House-Museum, where the immersive performance “Stoletov” will take place at 18.30, 19.30, 20.30 and 21.30 (price – 200 rubles).

The Museum of Nature, according to tradition, will host the excursion “Journey through the night forest with a flashlight.” Start – 18.00, 19.00, 20.00, 21.00. Price – 200 rubles.

Residents of the regional center are also invited to the “Family Matters” walking tour, which starts at 16:00. Walking along the city streets past houses and landmarks, participants will travel back in time and learn about significant events in Vladimir’s cultural, secular and spiritual life. At 18.30 and 20.00 on the territory of the Spaso-Evfimiev Monastery there will be an author’s excursion with a light installation. Participants will be able to appreciate how architectural lighting transforms the image of space and objects. You will also be able to try yourself as a lighting designer. Price – 200 rubles.

At 20.30 and 21.00 – spiritual program of the Men’s Choir of the Spaso-Evfimiev Monastery in the Transfiguration Cathedral (price – 150 rubles).

The exhibition “Doctors in a Hut” will be open to the public in the Posad House from 6 to 10 p.m. There you can see the heroes of the fairy-tale narrative in a 3D version, and also hear the voice of the artist himself with funny comments about what is happening between the heroes. A free ticket is required.

To the capital of glass

Visitors will be welcomed at the Maltsov Crystal Museum in Gus-Khrustalny. At 6 p.m. there will be a piano concert dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Kabalevsky’s birth. Soloists are laureates of international competitions: Vasily Shcherbakov (Moscow), Kaiyi He (China). Price – 300 rubles.

At 18.00, 19.00 and 20.00 – interactive lesson for children “Fantasy of Colors” (price – 150 rubles). At 19.30 the presentation of the exhibition “A Gift to the Museum” will begin. A free ticket is required. At 20.00 there will be a lecture “Vasnetsov’s works for the Church of St. George at the Gusev factories of Nechaev-Maltsov.” A free ticket is required. Organized excursions for visitors will begin at 21.00.

Noble traditions in the Khrapovitsky estate

From 16 to 19 hours you can visit the estate in Muromtsevo. There, in the visitor center, the creative living room “In the Family Circle” will introduce guests to noble family traditions. In the atmosphere of a family evening in a noble house, guests will see a home puppet theater, take part in real noble forfeits, and play an intellectual quiz about folk traditions. A free ticket is required.

The event will take place at the Vladimir Regional Library for Children and Youth (23 Stroiteley Avenue) on November 4. The events will begin at 18:00.

On the territory of the master classes you can work with your hands. At 18.05 – a master class in the iris folding technique, at 19.30 and 20.00 – a master class on weaving bracelets, at 20.00 – drawing using the ebru technique, at 21.00 – painting plates.

Film screenings will be held in the Orange Hall. At 18.30 they will show the drama “To the Touch”, and at 20 o’clock – the melodrama “Onegin”.

To the Fine Arts Center

On November 4, from 7 to 10 p.m., the “Night of the Arts” will be held at the Fine Arts Center. Visitors will be able to get acquainted with exhibitions and participate in prepared events. At 19:00 – a musical and poetry program by Yulia Pokachalova. At 19.15 and 20.50 – a tour of the exhibition “Quiet Evenings. Moonlit Nights”, a master class “Village Landscape” will also be held at this time. At 19.30 – a master class “Spinning and weaving”, at the same time the theater studio of Vladimir Laptev will perform. At 20 o’clock – lecture-tasting “Etiquette of Russian tea drinking. Immersion in the culture of the 19th century” (price – 1,700 rubles) with musical accompaniment by saxophonist Dmitry Zubkov. At 20.15 you can play board games.
