On August 1, we invite the residents of Chełm to a concert commemorating the anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising.
The event will take place on the slope by the Chełm Cultural Center (Plac Tysiąclecia Państwa Polskiego 1). The event will begin at 7:00 p.m., and admission is free. In case of bad weather conditions, the concert will be moved to the auditorium.
The concert’s repertoire includes traditional songs from the uprising, as well as contemporary ones dedicated to the uprising. Experienced musicians will perform on stage, but also young artists associated with the Chełm Culture Center.
The “W Hour” event is part of the “It’s Worth Being Polish” Programme organised by the Lublin Voivodeship Self-Government.
