In such a composition – flute, violin and piano – the composer also played music together with violinist Jānis Bulavas and pianist Edmunds Goldšteinas.
The concert program reflects the author’s original writing and emphasizes his ideas about the need for spiritual ecology. The organizers of the concert note: “It would be difficult to define the stylistic belonging of Juris Ābols’ works – it can be modernism, avant-garde, Dadaism, but also national romanticism.”
One of the main activities of “Trio Spectrum” is the playing of chamber music by Latvian authors and collaboration with composers. The ensemble refreshes long-unheard, rarely played musical opuses of Latvian composers, such as Ādolfs Skulte’s “Noveli”, Pauls Dambis ‘”Shakespeare’s Music”, Artūrs Grīnups’ “Nocturne”, Vilnius Šmīdbergs Trio, Juris Carlson’s trio “Sand Time”.
