Concert performance “Valentīns Skulme in 100 Letters” is being made in Mālpils

A concert performance “Valentīns Skulme in 100 Letters” directed by Kārlis Anitēns is being made in Mālpils. The scenographic solution of the concert performance is created by the artist Anitra Bērziņa, who especially created a series of large-format paintings in Valentīns Skulme in 100 Letters, in which music, dance, visual arts and theater merge into one whole, informed the Sigulda Devon Cultural Center.

During the performance, one after another, the paintings will “open up” to the viewer, allowing to feel even more strongly the edges of the world perception of the contradictory personality. The director has given the same task to pianists Roksana Tarvide and Kaspars Bumbišs, dancers Egija Abaroviča and Reinis Rešetins, as well as to Mālpils Amateur Theater.

The concert performance “Valentīns Skulme in 100 Letters” at the Mālpils Culture Center is scheduled for April 22 and 23 at 19.00 Tickets are available at “Biļešu paradīze” ticket offices or electronically.
