Concert Pearl Jam in Ziggo Dome canceled at the last minute

No replacement concert

Pearl Jam’s second show, which is scheduled for Monday, will continue for the time being. There will be no replacement concert for the canceled performance. Ticket holders get their money back.

This afternoon, MOJO announced that it would still be keeping a close eye on whether the Pearl Jam concert would take place. The rock group also had to cancel concerts in Vienna and Prague last week because of Vedder’s voice problems.

Voice problems

Dust, heat and smoke from fires lit during a performance at a French festival last week had struck his voice.

Pearl Jam calls the cancellation of the concert in Amsterdam ‘the worst possible scenario’. “We sincerely apologize to everyone who worked so hard on the show and all the fans who were looking forward to it,” the band said in a statement. “Now we focus all our energy on tomorrow’s show.”

Also a downer for the band Shame, who would be supporting Pearl Jam tonight. They announced in their Instagram Stories this afternoon that the concert was going on ‘1000 percent’. Not so.
