Live from the Latvian National Theater – the world-famous Latvian opera diva Elīna Garanča and maestro Raimonds Pauls’ carefully prepared and long-awaited concert program “If You Weren’t …”

The program was held in honor of the maestro’s 85th anniversary and was scheduled for January this year, but due to the pandemic, the concerts were postponed.

The chamber orchestra participates in the concert Sinfonietta Riga with Normunds Šnē at the conductor’s desk, as well as an instrumental group led by Raimonds Macata.

“Meeting with Garanča is very welcome, it is like a holiday. The first part will be the premiere of several songs written especially for Garanča. Paul. The second part of the concert includes songs from movies and theater performances with Paul’s music in new arrangements.
