The Concert Music Festival 2022 presents at Fitur, the most important International Tourism Fair in the world. During the presentation of the Concert Music Festival of Chiclana (Cádiz) at the International Tourism Fair (Fitur), the Vice President of the Board and Minister of Tourism, Regeneration, Justice and Local Administration, Juan Marín, highlighted the positioning of Andalusia as a destination for reference for travelers interested in attending major music festivals, a segment “of extraordinary growth and that diversifies our already very complete tourist offer.”
As reported by the Board in a note, the Concert Music Festival will take place between the months of July and August in the town of Sancti Petri in Chiclana de la Frontera. Thus, Marín has pointed out that this cycle of concerts, already consolidated in the national festival calendar, “is an excellent example of the musical proposal of Andalusia, especially in the summer months, and a sample of the complementarity of our offer”.
In this sense, he has argued that this type of event stimulates tourist activity, since “they allow the visitor to combine attendance at top-level cultural shows with the enjoyment of the destination, its gastronomy and its natural environment, among other options” .
In addition, the vice president recalled that these events “have an impact on Andalusia as a whole and help travelers stay more days in the region, so that they take advantage of their stay to enrich their experience and visit various destinations in the community”. It has also highlighted the positioning of Chiclana and the Cadiz Costa de la Luz that this festival carries out, attracting more than 200,000 people in previous editions and obtaining various awards and recognitions, in addition to reaching more than 1.4 million hits in the market. national.
The Concert Music Festival will feature this year performances by artists such as Marc Anthony, Sting, Carlos Vives, Sebastian Yatra, Maluma, Manolo García, Andrés Calamaro, Black Eyed Peas, Antonio Orozco, Texas, Niña Pastori, Taburete, Leiva, Los Morancos, Malú, Miguel Podeva or Dani Martín, among others.
The venue, located in a privileged natural environment and adjacent to eight kilometers of beaches, also offers various experiences to visitors, such as a second stage with the presence of renowned DJs, boxes and terraces and gastronomic proposals.
