A good 3,400 people must experience that feeling again and again on Saturday evening in the Porsche Arena: believing, feeling that Udo Jürgens is there, on the stage – because his image shines on the screens, his voice is accompanied by an orchestra. All of his big hits are there, as are many lesser-known songs, and his personality shines through them. However, whenever the audience takes their eyes off the screens and actually looks at the stage, they see that someone is missing. Udo Jürgens, the star of the evening, died on December 21, 2014, less than three months after his 80th birthday.
