Concert garden “Blow, winds!” will open with a concert “Return”

Industry professionals are working on the two-part concert with the participation of more than 100 musicians. Composer Uldis Marhilēvičs, producer and director Viktors Runtulis, multimedia artist Artis Dzērve, sound director Normunds Slava and event organizer, producer, singer and poet Maija Kalniņa have united in creating this musical event.

Maestro Raimonds Pauls, Liepāja Symphony Orchestra, conductors Atvars Lakstīgala, Jēkabs Ozoliņš and Kaspars Ādamsons will take the stage in the concert “Return”; groups “Jumprava”, “Credo”, “Carnival Youth”, “Musiqq”, “bet bet”, “Eolika” and “Pērkons”, Jānis Lūsēns, Marhilevičs, Juris Pavītols, Ainars Virga, Fēlikss Ķígelis, Igo, Aivars Hermanis, Vjačeslavs Mitrohins, Siegfried Muktupāvels, Ivo Fomins, Ainars Mielavs, Renārs Kaupers, Aija Andrejeva, Harijs Zariņš, Don, Ilona Bagele, Andris Ērglis, Jānis Strazds, Roberts Dinters, Laura Teivāne, Laimis Rācenājs, Tomass Kleins the others.

The opening concert of the concert garden “Pūt, vējiņi” is organized by Liepāja Municipality in cooperation with SIA “Liepājas latviešu biedrības nams” and SIA “Marhils Music Company”.

As reported, the concert garden “Blow, winds!” commissioned last December. In the future, the new stage will be able to organize outdoor events and concerts for a larger number of visitors than before – much more comfortable conditions are provided for both artists and spectators.

Access to the concert garden has been improved by integrating it into the territory of Jurmala Park, which will be freely available to every visitor to the park. Squares and paths have been redesigned to ensure full access to the environment and better connectivity with the coast.
