The network for a dementia-friendly Zillertal invites you to a special concert evening for people with and without dementia on Friday, October 20th.
Students from the Zillertal, Jenbach-Achental, Kramsach and Schwaz state music schools will perform a diverse program from 3 p.m. in the lecture hall of the LMS Zillertal in Fügen, ranging from folk music and classical music to rock and pop. Admission is free.
The concert series “Hear Music – Feel Music” creates a framework that meets the needs of people with dementia or forgetfulness and their relatives, as well as everyone else. It is intended to create a connection between young and old, disabled and healthy, and also contribute to raising awareness of the topics of aging, dementia, illness and inclusion. Because music touches everyone, it awakens forgotten memories or allows difficult things to fade into the background for the moment. It connects, community and emotion arise.
