His latest album, Central City (2020), sees Gros capture the distinctive feel-good charm of his hometown New Orleans; For this he makes use of the help of some of his most renowned musicians, guardians of the musical tradition of the city. Central City is a collection of classic New Orleans songs, old and new, filtered through his decades of dedication to the craft. The album combines original songs by Gros with covers by Allen Toussaint, Lloyd Price and John Prine.

Alba Blanco performs live with double bass player Guillermo González and drummer Jesús López, two luxury squires, with experience in a multitude of projects within the 1950s scene.
