There is one thing that made the Premier League at the end of last season so tarnished. It was an ‘invasion’ of the audience into the field!
Manchester City supporters took to the pitch to celebrate their winning team after a dramatic 3-2 comeback against Aston Villa. There were Everton fans attacking manager Patrick Vieira during his team’s win over Crystal Palace.
This is what some people are worried about. A prosecutor in the City of Manchester, Nick Smart gave a strong comment. When he judged one of the Man City fans who did pitch invasion and resulted in a fine and a ban from watching the stadium for four years.
“You make other people do the same thing, to provoke the opponent,” he stressed.
“What you did was intentional and conspicuous. You targeted your opponent and set off an alarm for the players, team officials and other supporters,” said chair of the bench, Wallace Johnson on the same occasion.

“20-30 years ago, the Premier League changed for the better and brought the crowd so close to the pitch. The fans also respect the rules and 99 percent will not go on the pitch,” said former Manchester United player Gary Neville as quoted by Sky Sports.
“Because the Premier League is friendly for families, women and children to watch in stadiums. Suddenly in the last few weeks there have been idiots on the pitch!” he growled.
“Getting onto the pitch was already a problem, but then they attack other players? I can’t understand it,” he added.
Roy Keane, another former Manchester United player also criticized the actions of supporters like that. For him, the fans have to change for the better!
“Such actions are shameful. It is possible that a player or manager could be seriously injured. I think people have forgotten how to behave properly after Covid,” he said.
