Corona, which had been quiet, is spreading again as the summer vacation season comes.

In the third week of July, the number of new corona19 confirmed cases was 253,800, a 35% increase from the previous week.
It has been showing a steep increase for four consecutive weeks since the end of June.
In particular, on the 19th, there were 47,029 new confirmed cases.
It was the highest in six months since last January, when the winter resurgence peaked.
If the spread continues like this, the average number of confirmed cases per day in the past week, which is announced today, could exceed 50,000.
This is even in the summer, when it is difficult for the virus to survive, and considering the tendency for the infection to spread faster as the days get colder, there are concerns that another Corona 19 resurgence will begin in the fall.
Experts point to the spread of a new mutant virus and the lifting of the obligation to wear masks as problems.
The recently prevalent Omicron mutation, XBB 1.5, is a new mutation that is difficult for existing COVID-19 vaccines to prevent.
In October, the government plans to provide a new vaccine to prevent XBB mutation, but until then, there is no other way than personal quarantine.
The government has announced that from August at the earliest, it will lift the obligation to wear masks indoors, which remains in some large medical institutions.
Most of the cost of examination and treatment was decided to be borne by individuals.
The trend of COVID-19 infections in the last week of this month, which will be announced today, could be a variable in the government’s additional mitigation plan for COVID-19.
