The iPhone 12 lineup will be launched in around four months. In addition to technical innovations such as 5G connectivity and a LiDAR scanner, a major design update is also expected. Only Apple knows for sure what this will look like in the end. However, some talented designers have done an impressive job in recent months, getting the latest rumors into shape. So also in today’s concept by Mauro Battino (ConceptsiPhone).

New iPhone 12 Pro concept

It’s time again to take a look at the iPhone 12. If you believe the rumors, the optical jump will be a little bigger this year. While relatively little has changed in terms of design in recent years, the 2020 models are supposed to be more different from their predecessors. This is exactly what the experienced designer Mauro Battino would like to demonstrate in a video.

In the concept video we see an iPhone 12 Pro with the new Navy Blue color option. However, the new color only shows up at the end of the video. It’s worth the wait, so the new blue looks very good on the iPhone 12 Pro. The new smartphone is particularly impressive in connection with the flat edges that are still known, for example, from the first-generation iPhone SE or the iPad Pro.

Battino processes the past leaks in the usual professional quality. Taking the new iPad Pro as a model, the concept iPhone 12 Pro also gets a LiDAR scanner, thanks to which we should dive even better into the augmented reality. Accordingly, it gets tight in the camera hump on the back when the triple camera and the new sensor expand. The space on the front is also used more effectively. Apple could move its arsenal of cameras and sensors into a smaller space and thus reduce the size of the notch, which brings us one step closer to a frameless display. We also see a 120 Hz Super Retina XDR display, the new A14 Bionic SoC, improved face ID functionality and 5G support, all packaged in a stylish design.

According to a previous leak, the iPhone 12 Pro Max will be slightly wider and longer compared to the iPhone 11 Pro Max. Apple is expected to use a 6.7 inch OLED display. The display frame should only be 1.55 mm instead of 2.52 mm. This means that the display takes up an even larger area of the front. We expect four iPhone 12 models in the fall. It is said that Apple will rely on a 5.4 inch model, two 6.1 inch models and a 6.7 inch model.
