Concept art depicts abandoned ideas for Kylo Ren

Over a year after the Skywalker saga ended, fans now have a look at previous ideas from Kylo Ren via Twitter’s account Star Wars Facts receive. Another concept drawing of the character of actor Adam Driver has now been published there.

In the early stages of production, there was a version of Kylo Ren called “The Grave Robber”. The picture shows the leader of the First Order with a cyborg arm. He was called a grave robber because he was seen with the remains of Darth Vader – usually with the emperor’s helmet. You can find the concept art of Kylo Ren in the tweet below.

As early as 2019, an early idea by Kylo Ren was published on the Internet. The drawing came from Phil Szostak (Creative Art Manager at Lucasfilm). Here Kylo can be seen wearing a mask that only covers his mouth and nose. Not quite healthy eyes can be seen above it. The concept drawing was later used as the inspiration for Fifth Brother in Star Wars Rebels. We have also included the tweet from that time below.
