Diocesan Caritas of Madrid It has a Women’s Assistance Center open at Calle Concepción Jerónima, 19. A highly flexible space, aimed at women in situations of social exclusion, offering services to meet their basic needs, as well as a place to meet, counsel, listen and support to improve their quality of life.
It opens its doors every day of the year and on public holidays and is designed as a welcoming space where women have a shower service -with feminine hygiene kit-, washing machine and dryer, coffee and snacks and a ‘large rest room with television, luggage room, reading area, board games and computers with internet access. In addition to accompanying women, the center offers them information and guidance to facilitate their access to different resources according to their situation and needs.
