Ollersdorf has just under 850 inhabitants. Nevertheless, numerous prominent decision-makers in the district come from this dreamy wine-growing village. There are currently five: Gänserndorf’s AHS director Eva Zillinger, SPÖ member of parliament René Zonschits, Gänserndorf’s health insurance boss Siegfried Vock, winegrowers’ association district chairman Matthias Reckendorfer and Marchfelder Bank board member Günther Vock, Siegfried’s brother.

“Ollersdorf is obviously a good place,” smiles Zonschits, who was able to motivate his four colleagues to take a photo together: “Who knows how long such a concentrated load will last…”
Incidentally, a sixth celebrity lives in Ollersdorf, who plays a less important role for the district but all the more for the federal government: Rudolf Srba, federal pensioner chairman of the vida trade union (interest group for the transport and service sector).
