The CONCACAF Gold Cup will be held for the first time in stadiums in Cincinnati, St. Louis and San Diego.
The Confederation of North, Central America and the Caribbean announced Monday the 15 stadiums for its national team tournament — with 16 participants — between June 24 and July 16.
Another new venue, SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, was confirmed last October as the venue for the final.
The other courts making their debut are TQL Stadiums in Cincinnati, Citypark in St. Louis and Snapdragon in San Diego.
It will also be played at AT&T in Arlington, Texas; Bank of America in Charlotte, North Carolina; Soldier Field in Chicago; the DRV PNK in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; the State Farm in Glendale, Arizona; Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey; the Allegiant in Las Vegas, the Levi’s in Santa Clara, California; and BMO Field in Toronto. Houston will host matches at two stadiums: NRG and Shell Energy.
The United States will seek to repeat as champion of the tournament and Qatar was included as an invitee.
Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Nicaragua and Panama have already qualified. Three other teams will join after a preliminary phase in June.
The draw for the four groups will take place on Friday.
