The performances will be on Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8 at the Centro de las Artes Theater, located inside Fundidora Park.
Monterrey, Nuevo León. – As part of CONARTE’s 2024 Theater Season, the play “Cantor en finito” comes to the stage, with dramaturgy by Carlos Portillo and direction by José Olivares.
The performances will be this Saturday, September 7 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 8 at 6:00 p.m., at the Teatro del Centro de las Artes, located inside Fundidora Park.
“Cantor en finito” is a play that deals with the search for infinity through the interpretation of three actresses and one actor. This stage proposal explores the moment in which stories intersect, both one’s own and those of others, and when a story becomes one’s own or ceases to be.
“We are doing experimental theatre. It is a very different production that includes our stories, there is even a break from fiction and a questioning of the characters if they are ourselves or if it is fiction and we share our stories through infinity,” said actress Claudia Valeria.
During each performance, the actors invite the audience to participate with a souvenir to be included in the play; this audience participation makes each performance unique.
The general direction is by Janina Villarreal and the cast is made up of Claudia Valeria, Grisel Mojica and Santiago Fresnillo.
Tickets will be available at the theater box office one hour before each performance. General admission is 120 pesos and 80 pesos for students, teachers and INAPAM members with valid identification.
