In the information, the counselor of the Union of Parents of the South of Tamaulipas AC, David Hernández Muñiz, regretted that “the federal government has not strategically planned adequate logistics in the delivery of these books, causing many damages to the students because they do not have where to answer your questions and especially that now the classes are virtual ”. And he estimated a delay of approximately 15% in the delivery of the material.

To this, Conaliteg specified that: “The four million 338 thousand 464 free textbooks, current and in use for the different levels of basic education, were received by the state authorities and were distributed to schools with the opportunity. In an extraordinary effort that we all recognize, teachers, parents and auxiliary authorities, attending to sanitary protection measures, made the above possible in an extremely difficult period ”.

In a letter sent to this publishing house, the National Commission indicates that “The book” The Entity Where I Live “is a book for each state and in this school year it was revised and updated. Meanwhile, the previous version was used, which is also part of the digital catalog of free textbooks ”.

Explain that “For the Telesecundaria third grade school service, this year the corresponding material was published in two volumes; Volume II will be used in the second semester starting in February and its distribution has been taking place since November ”.

Upon being informed that many schools would remain closed – says the report – without the possibility of distributing free textbooks, Conaliteg digitized all books and educational materials on its platform: https://www.conaliteg.sep.gob.mx/ and implemented the Conaliteg-Digital app, available for iOS and Android.

The letter concludes that “the previous clarifications seek to inform teachers, parents and the student community, the strategy of distribution of free textbooks in a national emergency situation due to the pandemic, in which health and well-being had to be prioritized. of all those who participate in the chain of production and distribution of educational material books, in Tamaulipas and at the national level
