The School Bag and Plaster Association has won its bet. Collect money to buy essential equipment for the education of sick children. Thanks to the mobilization of numerous donors, it was able to offer 13 laptops, 5 desktops, 2 webcams, 4 printers, 1 video projector, plus various consumables and connection elements to the School for hospitalized children and adolescents in Purpan ( EEAH). This solidarity operation notably received € 8,000 from the Thalès Foundation, € 1,500 from the association “Constance la petite guerrière astronaute” and the Orange Foundation, € 6,000 as an exceptional endowment from the town hall of Toulouse and finally € 5,796 of the auction sale of works by Toulouse artists.
These various aids have enabled Cartable and Spradrap to purchase computer equipment suitable for the organization of teaching which is sometimes done remotely. The computers, printers, video projector, which have been acquired, are proving all the more relevant in this period of pandemic as they reinforce the existing system and allow many students to access their lessons. The team of teachers of the EEAH, and the Association Cartable et Sparadrap, on behalf of hospitalized children, salute the joint support of donors and the work of volunteers who have enabled the acquisition of this essential material, and thank a new times all those who joined forces and generosity. As a bonus, to support this end of the year, the Association “Constance the little warrior astronaut” donated school supplies to equip the students and the Association Petit Coeur de Beurre in partnership with Truffaut, offered for the school and the pupils a very beautiful decorated tree. The EEAH teaching team was particularly sensitive to these great initiatives.
