Forcing Costa Ricans to get the Covid-19 vaccine “is an abuse” against the people, according to Fabricio Alvarado, candidate for the New Republic party.

The politician opposes that as of December Costa Ricans are obliged to demonstrate that they have already been vaccinated to enter public places such as bars or restaurants, or concerts or football matches.
The measure also has the potential to become a stumbling block for economic reactivation, which is urgent considering that more than 400 thousand people are unemployed.

“It is with great concern that I have seen the abuse, arbitrariness and blur that the government injects the people once again, and that in fact will put in check the ailing national economy, as well as the confidence and hope of the people that things will be better” Alvarado said.
On the other hand, the New Republic presidential candidate called on the population to be vaccinated against Covid-19, but at the same time he was respectful of people who do not want to be vaccinated.
“I have been vaccinated for months, I made him aware and responsible for my actions and out of respect for my family and all Costa Ricans, I also promote and invite vaccination as a way to take care of ourselves and our loved ones, but I do not think that compelling Everyone to be vaccinated against their will is the route to success, that is not the Costa Rican way of doing things, that is not ensuring the collective good ”, added Fabricio.
