A German travel company has announced that it will only allow fully immunized or recovered people to book a vacation from autumn. Vienna’s tour operators are trying to calm down, but cannot rule out possible future requirements for holiday regions.

The Vienna Tourist Office says that they do not expect that only those who have been vaccinated or recovered will be allowed to travel in the future. However, no one can currently rule out that individual holiday destinations or regions will have such a legal situation within a few days. Nor can it be ruled out that individual shipping companies and cruise companies will introduce such regulations.
Compulsory vaccination for club holidays?
Something similar can be heard from the Chamber of Commerce. The representatives of the travel agencies say that the idea of only admitting people who have been vaccinated or recovered will not have a broad impact. But it might just be the case in some areas, such as club vacations.
The tour operator TUI says that they work very closely with the Austrian authorities. But you don’t want to set your own rules.
