The Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center in Al-Ahsa, in cooperation with the Mental Health Hospital, implemented an awareness-raising training workshop entitled (How to deal with cases of agitation) this morning.
It targeted sixty-three employees of the center, including the medical staff, the social department, and caregivers
Dr. Ahmed Al-Murr spoke about several basic topics, including: defining agitation, mentioning the risk factors that lead to agitation and how to expect it and its physical and psychological causes, evaluating the state of agitation and how to deal with it.
The program included practical applications with nurse Ahmed Al-Abdullah, a hospital employee, training attendees on the mechanism of using the bandage in the correct and safe way.
In conclusion, the director of the center, Mr. Ahmed bin Saud Al-Fadhli, extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the hospital administration for the continuous cooperation, to the lecturer for the distinguished presentation, and to the psychological services unit at the center for its keenness to organize such development training workshops that contribute to improving and improving the service provided to people with disabilities and maintaining their safety.
This program will be completed in the coming days, God willing, to ensure the delivery of sound information to all workers to ensure the provision of better services to the category of people with disabilities and to understand their psychology and how to deal with them in the proper way.
