Comprehensive Plan to Eradicate Violence in Families and Schools Presented in Villahermosa

• Special education psychologists and psychologists presented the work done to design a comprehensive plan to eradicate violence in families and schools.

The secretaries of Education, Egla Cornelio Landero, and of Health, Silvia Guillermina Roldán Fernández, held a working meeting in which they followed up on the instructions of Governor Carlos Manuel Merino Campos, on the design of the comprehensive plan to eradicate violence intra-family and risk behaviors related to the socio-emotional health of girls, boys, adolescents and young people (CAY).

In this meeting, the SETAB Special Education psychologists team presented the work carried out for the design of this plan, in addition to exchanging ideas with Health personnel and outlining the actions that they will jointly carry out for the benefit of students, teachers , fathers, mothers of families, tutors and the general population.

When leading this work meeting in which she was accompanied by the Undersecretary of Basic Education, the head of the SETAB, Egla Cornelio Landero, pointed out that part of the proposed work is the product of the efforts of the psychologists who belong to the Multiple Attention Centers (CAM) and the Regular Education Support Services Units (USAER), who are putting all their effort, experience and knowledge into the construction of this plan.

At the same time, the Secretary of Health, Silvia Roldán, highlighted that among all of us it is possible to join efforts to detect and prevent intra-family violence and risk behaviors related to the socio-emotional health of girls, boys, adolescents and young people, for which reason recognized the work and effort of the SETAB psychologists.

The meeting that took place in the facilities of the Secretary of Education of the State of Tabasco, was also attended by the director of Special Education, María del Rocío Ramírez Ávalos; the head of the Directorate of Psychosocial Health, Susana Isabel Vázquez López, and head of Technical Support of the Ministry of Health, Laura Zerón.
