Composer Rihards Zaļupes’ concert “Here and now. In silence” will light up and light up the Riga Lutheran Church in Torņakalnė today at 4 p.m., Liene Miller, the representative of the event organizers, informed LETA agency.
Keyboard player Raimonds Petrauskis, guitarist Jānis Bērziņš, vocalist Annija Putniņa will perform together with Zaļupi this evening, and Līna Krastiņa will play the crystal singing bowls. The choir of the Riga Lutheran congregation under the leadership of conductor Matīs Tučas will also perform at the concert.
Zaļupe and Putniņa’s collaboration “You Are Not Alone” will also have its premiere in this concert program. The lyrics for this song were created by the artist herself.
On the day of the concert, all those interested are invited to visit the Christmas garden on the territory of the Torņakalna church, where you can enjoy the atmosphere of waiting for Christmas – warm yourself by the fire, take photos in the spruce park, drink warm drinks in the cafe area and experience other activities organized by the Riga Lutheran congregation.
