Composer Raimonds Tiguls invites to the annual concert in Tiguļkalns

Raimonds Tiguls’ open-air concert “Tiguļkalns” will take place in Talsi on the 4th of June this year for the eleventh time, where the composer invites his music friends and like-minded people together every year on the highest of the city’s nine hills, creating a special feeling for every concert visitor.

Raimonds Tiguls together with singer Beata Zviedri, string quintet musicians of the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, Sandis Steinbergs, Raimonds Melderis, Arigo Strals, Ainars Paukšenas, Raivo Ozols and an outstanding instrumental group, Andis Klučnieks, Rihards Lībietis, Roberts Orgas will be happy with the program – “Moonlight sound drawings”.

This year, the special guest of the concert “Tiguļkalns” will be one of Latvia’s most remarkable talents – a pianist Reinis Zariņšthe organizer of the concert Raimonds Tiguls informs the portal “Delfi”.

The composer says of the upcoming concert: “This concert program is very special to me, because it is in a way the musical journey of my life.

The open-air concert started in 2012 as an idea to gather musicians together in Tiguļkalns every summer, with whom the co-operation projects created by Raimonds Tigulas reflect the versatility of the composer’s work, the feelings and special sound characteristic of Latvia’s nature, nation, culture and life.
